YOGA for Wellness and Coping with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder with Michal Hall Curry
Thursdays 5:00 PM - 6:15 PM $12 drop in/$40 for 4 classes
Even if you don't think you have PTSD, you are welcome to come and try this yoga class.
Some symptoms of PTSD may include: Physical reactions to situations that remind you of the traumatic event Lack of interest in normal activities Difficulty concentrating Sleeping difficulties Feeling your heart beat in your chest (palpitations) Headache
Learn breathing, asanas (poses), qigong, "fight or flight" technique and other tools for wellness and coping with PTSD. Dress comfortable; bring a pillow and yoga blanket. |
